Stat. \u00a7 768.76<\/a>, the court must reduce an award in certain cases. This applies when liability is admitted or decided by the trier of fact (the judge or jury who decides the facts). Damages must also be awarded.<\/p>\n<p>Where liability is admitted or determined by the trier of fact and damages are awarded, the court subtracts amounts paid for your benefit, or otherwise available to you, from collateral sources.
