Attorney Motto: We Are In The People-Helping Business

I’m a native of Cuba. Growing up in a communist country I saw a lot of injustice. Those daily injustices would be something that would stay with me for the rest of my life. When I was thirteen years old I had an opportunity to come to the United States with my family and pursue an education. It was then that I realized that injustice does not only exist in communist regimes. Since I was old enough to think I vowed to fight injustice wherever it may exist.

After getting my law degree I went to work for Miami Dade County’s Public Defender’s office. While there I handled hundreds of cases and won everything from misdemeanor to murder charges in front of juries. It was there that I learned that there is no more powerful weapon against injustice than a skilled trial lawyer and a fair minded jury.

Perfecting the skill of trying cases to juries is my life-long pursuit.  A pursuit that goes hand in hand with helping people get the justice they deserve. After all, we are in the people-helping business.

I practice in the areas of criminal defense and personal injury. The one thing that these areas of the law have in common is that they both have the capacity to devastate a person’s life and destroy families. When someone is accused of a crime they face the possibility of losing their freedom. A loss of freedom keeps a person from being able to work, support his or her children, and be around for his or her family. By the same token, when someone is severely injured in an accident he or she may be unable to work, take care of his or her family, and even live a normal life.

I put my skills honed during years of trying cases to juries to help you get your life back to normal.

If you’ve been injured in an accident through the fault of  another you are entitled to have the side that caused your injuries make you whole by paying you for your injuries. You may be entitled to money for pain and suffering, loss of consortium, medical bills, future medical care, among many other things.

We take pride in helping you get your life back on track by holding those who caused your injuries responsible. To find out more click here.
