Dylan Brice Gonzalez is a partner at Cornish Hernandez Gonzalez in Miami, Florida. Born in Miami, Florida, Mr. Gonzalez graduated cum laude with an undergraduate degree in International Studies-Management and a minor in Spanish from Pepperdine University in 2007. While at Pepperdine University, Mr. Gonzalez both participated on the Division I baseball team, and was recognized as the Most Outstanding Graduate amongst his peers in the International Studies—Management program. Before attending law school, Mr. Gonzalez played professional baseball as a right-handed pitcher with the St. Louis Cardinals where he concluded his professional baseball career and turned his focus to serving others as an attorney. In 2014, he received his Juris Doctor from Florida International University College of Law.
While in law school, Mr. Gonzalez successfully represented those facing deportation in the Immigration and Human Rights Clinic, was a Public Service Fellow recipient, FIU College of Law mock trial member, and earned various academic scholarships, including the ABOTA scholarship recognizing his excellence on the FIU College of Law mock trial team.
Prior to Cornish Hernandez Gonzalez, Mr. Gonzalez practiced personal injury and wrongful death defense, and proudly practiced criminal law as an Assistant Public Defender with the Miami-Dade County Public Defender’s office where he was privileged to fight for those who could not afford an attorney. Mr. Gonzalez also volunteered as a coach for the FIU College of Law mock trial team.
Admitted to practice in the state of Florida in 2014, Mr. Gonzalez is a proud member of The Florida Bar.
Mr. Gonzalez practices in the areas of criminal defense and civil litigation, with a focus on personal injury and wrongful death cases. As a former professional baseball player, Mr. Gonzalez also advises professional athletes in all matters related to their future in collegiate and professional sports.
